C-Purlins Systems

C-Purlins is produced from high tensile zinc-galvanised steel. Due to its high degree of accuracy and consistency in dimensions, it is widely used as the supporter of roof and wall in large-scale and mid-scale construction, such as factory, warehouse, garage, exhibition centre and so on.

In the construction industry, purlins provide an ideal and solid support for an unlimited range of walls and roofs. It is also provide a solid and mechanically balanced framework which is easy to fix to the skeletal structure of the building.

Steel Raw Material

Galvanized Iron (G.I.):
Galvanizing is a process of coating iron or steel with zinc in order to provide greater protection against corrosion for the iron or steel base.

TrueCore®:
Protective coatings of either TrueCore® 45% zinc/55 % aluminium alloy, or zinc, defend the steel against corrosion. (Note: TrueCore® is produced in Australia by BlueScope Steel. Zinc coated steel is commonly known as “galvanized iron”).

Zincalume®:
Zinc / Aluminum alloy-coated steel or Zincalume® steel is composed of 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and 1.5% silicon which provides a superior coating for steel. The aluminum in the coating provides barrier protection to the steel whilst the zinc component provides sacrificial cut edge protection. This double protection mechanism is the secret behind Zincalume steel's superior corrosion performance.
